Weigh in week 2

Well we got our butts kicked in our workout class tonight. I like the lady that runs the class, very positive and calls us out when we are wimping out :)

We did one cheat night this week and that made me nervous but after today's weigh in, I walked out to meet Jeremiah and his face was just as glowing as mine was..

I lost...

4.5 pounds this week!!!!!!!!!!

My total- 8 pounds in 2 weeks! (my short term goal is 20 pounds by graduation- May 9th- I CAN DO IT!)

Jeremiah lost...

5 pounds this week!!!!!!!

His total- 9 pounds!!!!!

we can't tell a different in the mirror but man it feels SO good. We wanted to run and tell everyone haha.

Thanks for the all the support- check in next week for #3!!

That is awesome! I'm so proud of you. What an inspiration you are to all of us. Do you think using my stationary bike and doing some walking/running in the neighborhood would be a good enough workout? I can't get to the gym with 3 little kiddos right now.

yah cardio is the best work out for initial weight loss. Being in your "target heart rate" (you can google it to find out more about it) helps burn the most fat- so that usually means that walking/hiking is better than running, and a hard bike ride (resistant) is better than a fast bike ride speed. (if that is confusing then I will explain it on Sunday haha)- Do you have a Wii??? (I can give you our My Fitness Coach which is a personal trainer on Wii (not Wii Fit- it's like being at a workout class at a gym but in your home)- we just were never disciplined to use it at home so the gym is the best bet for us- I would totally give that to you to use! :) I also have a balance ball (the big balls) that we do abs on- crunches and things- our trainer told us cardio and core (stomach) are the two things to focus on for now but we still do weights and strength stuff after that other stuff.

So all in all- yes the stationary bike and walking are GREAT for you :) it gives you a little "Stacey time" also. haha.
